GRAVHOUNDS Guide

Planets, Jobs and Enemies

Updated · Planets & POIs

Quick answer

Early Access has 7 solar systems and 25 planets. Pick one on the Star Map, which shows the job, a challenge rating, the main resource and how many blueprints are left. Jobs include Resource Grab (mine a quota), delivery jobs like Boom Bloom (return 750 Nitrate to the Collector), the Refinery and protecting Coffee Cat. Resources are Titanium, Electrium, Organic Nitrate and Biomass. Enemies scale the longer you stay, from Skitters and Goopers up to Leapers, elites and the Juggernaut boss.

Reading the Star Map

Each planet card on the Star Map shows:

Field Example from launch week
Planet name and job Yorezen Basin — Resource Grab!
Challenge rating Warning triangles (more = harder)
Resources Organic Nitrate, Titanium Ore
Blueprints 1 Blueprint Remaining or All Blueprints Collected

The tutorial planet is Primora (Recover Titanium to repair the ship). Harder planets pay better.

Planets we’ve confirmed

Early Access has 25 planets in 7 solar systems. These are the ones we’ve seen named so far:

Planet Notes
Primora Tutorial. Recover Titanium (Titanium Ore) to repair the ship
Yorezen Basin Resource Grab job, Organic Nitrate
Purrmafrost From the playtest; success rate just over 50%, among the hardest

We’ll add the rest as we read them off the Star Map.

Job types

Job What you do
Resource Grab Mine and bank a resource quota
Boom Bloom (delivery) Return Nitrate to Collector, 750 total. Explosive cargo: careful with the Grav Beam
Refinery Run a refinery and keep it alive. It has a health bar. Players report running out of Titanium on this job and having to search off-marker nodes near POIs
Protect Coffee Cat Keep Coffee Cat alive (she has a health bar). Heal her with your mining laser ⚠️ we haven’t confirmed which job type she appears in

Every job pushes the same choice: stay longer for more loot while the swarm grows, or extract now.

Resources

Resource Where it comes from Used for
Titanium Titanium cores and ore deposits Gunner-branch turrets, ship repair
Electrium Break the core to release crystals. Dropping them straight onto a pipeline is the fast way Laser-branch turrets
Organic Nitrate Planet deposits Delivery quotas
Biomass Harvest it fully (it also heals 10 HP) Mod upgrades
Credits Kills, mods like Hazard Pay Building during a run

Enemies

Enemy What we know
Skitters Small, fast swarmers
Goopers Throw acid bombs (no longer leave damage over time since the demo)
Leapers Jumping attackers that streamers kept calling out
Spitters Ranged enemies ⚠️ (named by players)
Hives Enemy nests streamers mention on the map ⚠️
Elites Tougher variants that show up earlier in bigger packs
Juggernaut The named boss in Early Access

Beat the swarm with layered turrets (see turrets) and bring single-target damage for elites and the Juggernaut.

FAQ

How many planets are in GRAVHOUNDS?

25 planets across 7 solar systems in Early Access. The demo had 2 systems and 7 planets.

Who is the boss in GRAVHOUNDS?

The Juggernaut is the named boss in Early Access. Bring high single-target damage: Lancer, Longbore or Arclight turrets and the Sniper.

What does challenge rating mean?

It's the planet's difficulty, shown as warning triangles on the Star Map. Harder planets have better materials: 'the higher the risk, the greater the rewards.'

Why do waves keep getting bigger?

That's the core rule: the longer you stay on a planet, the more the swarm escalates, and the better the rewards. Extract before your defenses fold.

What is Purrmafrost?

One of the planets from the playtest. Only about half of playtest attempts there succeeded, against about 70% overall, so it's one of the hardest.
