How to play with friends
- Multiplayer is the first option on the main menu. You don’t have to finish the tutorial for co-op, so a friend can show you the ropes. Solo play still needs the tutorial.
- Host a session and invite friends, or share the join code shown on the pause menu (it showed as a short code like AAFGABOL in the streams we watched).
- If someone drops, they can rejoin and the game picks their character back automatically.
- The game scales with player count: players report more enemies and elites showing up earlier in bigger packs.
Fixing connection problems
From Octopus Panic’s launch notes:
- Use a host with a capable PC in a nearby region.
- If you can’t join or rejoin, go back to the main menu and reconnect.
- If it keeps failing, have the host recreate the session.
